Europe’s biggest tech show, the IFA 2016 is underway


The IFA or Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin is one of the oldest and the largest technology exhibition shows in the World and in Europe. The event holds every year from 2 – 7 September. The IFA is credited for setting the tempo for the trend for the remaining part of a year and in this case it will be setting the tempo for rest of, 2016.

This year’s IFA has not seen many flagships devices. It is save to say that these tech companies are reserving some tech for the year end or next year’s beginning. So far mid-end devices and tablets have dominated the show. Androidnigeria will be providing a run down of the days events and the device’s that are announced by our favorite brands

There were lots more releases this year than last year: Acer Swift 7, Acer Spin 7, Predator 21 X Beast, Huawei Nova and Plus, Lenovo P2 and so on….As the year rounds up..we are patiently waiting for the big iPhone 7 and Plus which is expected to record big sale as Samsung calls back its Nte 7.
