Facebook adds video calling to its messenger app

A recent update on Facebook Messenger app now includes the ability to make free video calls. This update means Facebook messenger will compete directly with already existing VoIP video services like Viber and Skype.

Video calling in Messenger is launching today for people on iOS and Android in Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, the UK, the US and Uruguay. Other countries will follow in the next few months.

Head over to playstore and download the latest version.

Notice : As at 27th April 2015 at 8:45pm , AndroidNigeria checked Google playstore but the update is not yet available for nigerians. We will need to wait for at least 24hours before the update gets here
