As most people are just sitting and waiting for Google’s release of Glass devices, some app developers are up on their feet and grinding real hard figuring out ways they can tap into the ecosystem of the Google Glass devices.

With lots of app already out for the Google Glass device, as a sport fanatic, I could not but help notice a soon to be released app which the developers have called Blue.

The Blue app gives us live updates on games as they are going on. If you are a sport lover and you love being live at sport events or at games, with your Blue app on your Google Glasses, you won’t be left behind on the latest happenings at the event as long as the data is made available.

A demo of the app shows how this would work at a major-league baseball game as the system is being tested at AT&T Park already.

A video has surfaced outlining examples of the Blue app at work. In the video showcasing the app, we see how it delivers information about pitches, counts, runners, and other stats and data from the game.

The developer, Aaron Draczynski, indicates he would like to expand the app to include other sports, but he is apparently relying on free sources of information for the testing phase and is not sure the same type of info could be gleaned for other sports.

The system works by using geolocation data to determine the event you are attending and then displays the information.

Are you excited enough to get this app once you purchase your Google Glasses?
