Huawei is bringing newly launched P8 to Africa , starting with South Africa. The chinese phone manufacturer has announced the availability of P8 smartphone in South Africa. The smartphone will be available at the end of July and will retail at a price of R7,999 ($645).
Commenting on the launch, the General Manager of Huawei Consumer Business Group South Africa , Charlene Munilall believes Huawei’s P8 would become the most user-friendly smartphone for consumers globally. According to him ,
“The goal of Huawei P8 is to become the most user-friendly smart phone for consumers globally.
“Huawei seamlessly combines the best elements of style and durability in this device, delivering a revolutionary and premium user experience. The device symbolises our continuous commitment to provide customers with access to premium quality products.”
During the Launch in SA , The public relations officer of Huawei Zimbabwe , Mr Ngonidzashe Mangwendeza , Revealed that Huawei P8 will also be available in Zimbabwe. According to him :
“The P8 will be available in Zimbabwe mid-July at the Huawei shop along Robert Mugabe Road in Harare and all Econet shops countrywide at a price of $700. The phone will come with a one- year warranty, full back-up and service will be available through our service centre.”
Huawei P8 is a 5.2’inch HD Smartphone with full unibody design and special nano coating. It has 64-bit octa-core Cortex-A53 Hisilicon Kirin 935 processor with 3GB RAM. You can read more about it HERE.
