Meizu Pro 6 a Deca core smartphone with impressive specs and low price

 


Meizu is one of the fast rising Chinese smartphone makers, the companies recognition comes from their ability to serve quality at an affordable price. A move similar to other upcoming Chinese OEM’s, who udercut the price of their devices in order to get market share from the big players, namely Samsung, LG etc.

Meizu recently released their 2016 flagship, the Meizu Pro 6. The Pro 6 is a flagship by all standards except for its price, because the Pro 6 sports flagship specs for a somewhat mid-range price; more on this later, for now let’s take a look at the Pro 6’s specs, shall we?

Meizu Pro 6 comes with a unibody metal design, and has a 5.2-inch HD super AMOLED screen equipped with 3D press sensitivity, which is quite similar to Apples 3D touch. Under the devices shell, you will find 4GB of RAM, a 32GB/64GB internal storage depending on the variant that you purchase. The Pro 6’s huge RAM and ROM is giving a matching Deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor; that should serve considerably well when running heavy applications’.

For pictures and videos, the Meizu Pro 6 carries a 21MP rear camera, equipped with a 10-LED ring flash and laser focus. On the front, you will find a 5MP camera with a relatively large pixel size of 1.4 µm and F2.0 aperture. Powering the Pro 6 is a 2,560mAh battery that has mCharge 3.0; similar to Qualcomms quick charge. Meizu touts the mCharge 3.0 as being capable of charging the device from zero to hundred percent inside an hour.

For connectivity, the Meizu Pro 6 supports two nano-SIM cards, has a USB-C data cable. The device is also equipped with a finger print scanner that is said to recognize a fingerprint in 0.2 seconds.

All these spec goodness sells for $390 (well over N60,000 considering the current exchange rate) for the 32GB variant and $430 (over N70,000) for the 64GB variant – cool isn’t it? The Pro will be coming in black, or silver, or gold alluminum alloy unibody. The device will go on sales as from 23 April; the international version of the phone will be a pentaband, 11-frequency variant to ensure maximum network compatibility, when it will be available is still unknown.
