Adding style and sophistication on our wrist is just around the corner, meaning a Smartwatch is about to be released.

The hype of the Samsung Galaxy Gear has been afloat all over the ‘smart internet’ and some specifications of the Samsung Smartwatch have even leaked but the specs are just speculations and allegations though.

According to AmongTech, the Galaxy Gear will be powered by the Android Jelly Bean and the screen of the Samsung watch will have a 2.5-inch OLED display with a 320×320-pixel resolution.

Also, the Samsung Galaxy Gear will be available in two different styles with different storage capacities of 6GB and 8GB.

Also included in the Gear specs is a 1GB RAM, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, equipped with a 4-megapixel camera capable of 720p video recording and all powered by a battery life of upto 10 hours.

Speaking to the Korea Times, Samsung’s executive vice president of mobile, Lee Young-hee,recently confirmed the tech giant’s plans to reveal the smartwatch come September 4, alongside the expected Galaxy Note 3 smartphone.

Prior to the Galaxy Gear debut, the specs were leaked by an anonymous Samsung warehouse worker.
