Of late, there have been a deluge of releases encompassing an entire new lineup of smartphones from South Korean electronic company, Samsung. Rumors has it that the smartphones are to accompany the Galaxy ON nomenclature. Presently, leaked pictures of the new smartphones — Galaxy ON5 and Galaxy ON7 are online.
As usual, the body of Galaxy ON5 and ON7 will have the normal Galaxy design with white, black and gold color options. The similarities between the two devices is that both the Galaxy ON5 and the Galaxy ON7 will be powered by the Exynos 3475 SoC, which comes with an integrated quad-core CPU clocked at a frequency of 1.3 GHz. Both devices will also reportedly carry 1.5 GB of RAM and only 8 GB of internal storage, but will each have a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Both devices will have a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 5MP front-facing camera. Not to forget that, the ON5 and ON7 will run Android 5.1.1 with TouchWiz on top.
Presently, the main difference between Galaxy ON5 and Galaxy ON7 is the screen size, rear camera. The screen size of ON5 is 5 inch and that of ON7 is 5.5 inch. Then for the camera, ON5 will have a 13MP rear-facing camera whereas ON5 will come with an 8MP rear-facing camera. As for the batteries, the Galaxy ON7 will carry a 3,000 mAh unit whereas the Galaxy ON5 will sport a smaller 2,600 mAh battery. Prices for both devices are yet unknown but it is assumed to be around $150 for Galaxy ON5 and $200 for Galaxy ON7.
