Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are very similar save for their screen size and battery power. The S7 sports a 5.1-inch Quad HD super AMOLED display while the S7 Edge has a 5.5 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display. This difference in size is merger but significant to those who are particular about the size of their device. Both devices have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 resolution (Quad HD display). The battery power is another point of disparity between the S7 and S7 Edge with the Galaxy S7 sporting a 3000mah battery while the Galaxy S7 Edge has a 3600mah battery, a significant difference if I must say.
That said here is the specification of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in tabular form;
The Samsung Galaxy S7 specification differs with its predecessor the Galaxy S6 significantly in terms of expandable storage which was absent in the S6. The expandable storage was returned due to popular request for the feature. However, the Micro SD card cannot be used as adoptable storage, adoptable storage is a feature included in Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This feature was designed to help users get around low internal storage limitations, especially with applications. Adoptable storage lets users format a microSD card so that it looks and functions just like an internal storage. This is more secure memory but it does render the memory card effectively useless in other devices.
According to the guys at Androidauthority, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices will be coming with a copper pipe running next to the processor that contains water, which will run through and cool down the processor as it gets warm during gaming and other heavy tasks. These features is for phones users, who game and run multiple apps simultaneously. So you are rest assured that these devices would be cool, during heavy use – Go easy though, it’s a machine.
As for the phones price, it is pegged at $779.99 (over a N1o0.000, depending on exchange rate), this is price is informed by the American network provider ‘Tmobile’ recently published Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge pricing.
