Save the date: Infinix Note 4 will be unveiled 3 July

 


For the past three weeks or so, Infinix has been releasing image and word teasers suggesting that another device is ready to launch. Well, we know what  we are expecting, it is the Infinix Note 4 and the device will be coming with a new feature that will essentially change its status from good Phablet to an exciting Phablet with a fully funtioning note taking capability thanks to its Stylus pen. Yeah! a stylus pen, it is right there on the promotional image for the device.

The Infinix Note series is a very successful line of devices and we expect the Infinix Note 4 to do even better than its predecessors. As successors go, they are built to improve upon the advances of their predecessor. Going by this reasoning, we expect the Note 4 to sport a humongous battery with fast charging capability, a HD screen, fast processors, Great camera’s that can shoot crispier pictures and immersive videos. Well, that does it for speculation, although; it is not worthy to point out that our source was right about the Note 4 coming with a Stylus pen. In the meantime, we will have to wait until the launch day to find out what the Infinix Note 4 has for us. Stay tuned to our news channels for a minute to minute update on the event.

  3. Infinix Note 4 offers a compact design which will make it more appealing to more people. The phone features a metal body available in Champaign Gold, Milan Black, and Ice Blue. The 5.7-inch IPS display offers 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with a 2.5D curved Glass cover for the front of the phone.

  4. Infinix Note 4 has a microUSB port sandwiched between two speaker grilles on the lower side of the phone. The fingerprint sensor has been moved from the rear to the home button in the front. The front facing camera has been upgraded from 5 megapixels to 8 megapixels. This should result in better selfies

  5. Infinix Note 4 sports a 13 megapixels camera which seems similar to the Note 3 on paper, but it is likely that Infinix must have offered some improvements for a better photography. You also get dual-LED flash and phase detection autofocus

  6. Infinix Note 4 is powered by a Mediatek MT6753 chipset offering a 1.3GHz octa-core processor. The phablet sports 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM with 16GB or 32GB built-in storage respectively and support of up to 128GB via a microSD memory card. To add a memory card, you have to sacrifice the SIM2 slot. There is also an Infinix Note 4 Pro offering 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage with some other feature boost.

  7. Infinix Note 4 is loaded with Android 7.0 (Nougat) with the Infinix XOS 2.2 UI skin introducing new Android N UI features like the Muilt-Windows feature that enables you run two apps simultaneously in a split-screen arrangement.

  8. Infinix Note 4 offers Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB, dual-band Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE. Depending on your region, the LTE bands available to you will vary. The model of the Infinix Note 4 that we suspect will be sold in Nigeria will support MTN, Etisalat, NTel, Smile, and InterC. Another possible option will be MTN, Etisalat, NTel, and Glo Mobile.
