The Samsung Galaxy J3 Specifications

Samsung seem to be expanding its J series with the introduction of Samsung Galaxy J3,  a budget smartphone in China. Samsung J3 shares quite a lot of similarities with Samsung J5.

The specifications might not be all exciting for specs heads but prove a reasonable buy for the wider public.

Talking of Specs, the samsung J5 sports a 5inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, good for a pixel density of 294 ppi. Inside a chassis, there is a quad-core Cortex – A53 processor with Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset having the support of Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 1.2 GHz.

Coming down to its RAM, the Samsung J3 has 1.5GB and an internal storage of 8GB. The internal storage is pretty low but it supports installation of MicroSD as a means to increase its storage.

In terms of camera, the rare shooter comes with 8-megapixel camera with a LED flash and auto focus. While the front camera has a 5-megapixel selfie snapper which is also good enough for video calling.

Powered by the phone is a 2600mAh battery and an operating system of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Samsung’s latest TouchWiz version on the software. The smartphone works on three carriers; GSM (2G), HSPA (3G) and LTE (4G).

The Samsung Galaxy J3 should be between N40,000 and N50,000 when it finally comes to Nigeria.
