VAIO phoneBiz the latest windows10 powered phone with high-end specs

 


Vaio may not be a famous brand among smartphone users, this has not deterred the Japan based company from producing devices with top-of-the line specifications. Vaio has announced their latest and second smartphone called ‘PhoneBiz’.

Vaio PhoneBiz runs on windows 10, it is powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC with an octa-core processor; it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. PhoneBiz also comes with a 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD slot, a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter and 2,800mAh battery for power.

The phone makes entry to the smartphone market as a Mid-end device aimed at the business class. The Vaio PhoneBiz will be launched next month in Japan, and will expectedly cost $430. There is currently no information on if and when the device will be introduced to other smartphone markets outside Japan.

Vaio is an erstwhile company of Sony, sold by Sony in 2014 due to poor sales. Vaio was a division for Sony’s PC business. The company’s new owners have being making efforts to relaunch the company onto the world gadget main-stage, beginning with Brazil and the United States. Vaio CEO Yoshimi Ota stated that the company planned to focus more on high-end products in niche segments, the release of the Canvas Z tablet in October 2015, underscored the company’s goal.
