Another Ex-Twitter executive joins Instagram


Earlier this week, we reported that Twitters top executives are leaving the company “voluntarily”, according to Twitter Chief Executive Jack Dorsey. Well, everyone wonder what would have motivated such high profile resignations. Its becoming clear now that some the Top executives left to take up positions at different company’s.

According to NYT (New York Times), Ex-Twitter executive Kevin Weil has is switching social networks. he’s joining Instagram; a franchise owned by Facebook. Mr Weil replaces Peter Deng, Deng has being assigned to another project within Facebook. NYT reports says that Mr Weil had made his decision to join Instagram before news of top executives leaving Twitter made the rounds.

Vine General manger, Jason Toff announced that he is joining Googles VR depart earlier this week. This makes it two of the four ex-twitter executives, to have joined another company just after their departure from Twitter was made public. We are yet to receive any news on the other two ex-Twitter executives, Ex-Senior engineering VP Alex Roetter and former global media VP Katie Jacobs Stanton.
