New features added to the Google photos app in latest update


On the heels of a announcing a new feature for Google photos online editing, Google has announced a update for the Google photos Android app. Unlike the new online feature that allows for faster editing of photos, this one allows for easier and faster navigation.

Among the new changes brought by this new update include; A new button bar that makes it easy to move between the Assistant, Photos, and new album view; this new feature will apparently reduce time spent flipping through menus. In addition, the ‘collections section’ has being renamed to ‘albums’; this name change was a consumer requested, according to Google. Added to the name change is a new scrolling carousel on top with easy access to your shared albums, people, places, things, animations, collages, movies, and device folders.

This update (v1.15)  is already available to Android users, and you can be downloaded on Play Store. You can go check it out, and if you please share with us your experience through the comments box.
