Samsung launches the Galaxy A9 Pro, see specs and pricing


According to our news source, Samsung has launched Galaxy A9 Pro in China. The Galaxy A9 Pro is a slight upgrade to the just launched Galaxy A9, which also is an upgrade to last years Galaxy A8.

The Galaxy A9 Pro is much similar to the A9, as they both sport a similar It sports a 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI layered on top. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 652 processor octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It has 4GB RAM of RAM while the Galaxy A9 came with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via provided MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, we can see an upgraded 16MP rear camera while the selfie
camera stays at 8MP, same as on the Galaxy A9.

Galaxy A9 Pro is powered by an enormous 5,000mAh battery; it should be more than sufficient for your daily needs. The device has hybrid SIM slot that supports dual SIM dual standby and one SIM can be swapped for a MicroSD card. A seen with the Galaxy A9, the Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button in the front. A9 Pro will be available in White, Pink, and Rose Gold colors. The specs of the Galaxy A9 Pro firmly places it in the mid-tier on the device rating scale, the device also carries a mid range price tag of $540 that is well over 120k here in Nigeria considering the current exchange rate.
